Syncope - The medical term for fainting or passing out, caused by a temporary drop in the amount of blood that flows to the brain.

Diagnosis - The process of identifying a medical condition or disease by its signs, symptoms, and the results of various diagnostic procedures.

Adrenaline - A hormone secreted by the adrenal glands, especially in conditions of stress, increases rates of blood circulation, breathing, and carbohydrate metabolism and prepares muscles for exertion. Too much can cause severe damage to the heart.

Isolation - Precautions that are taken in the hospital to prevent the spread of an infectious agent from an infected or colonized patient to susceptible persons.

Overdose - A poisoning that happens to the body when a drug is taken in excessive amounts. This can be very life-threatening and fatal.

Schizo - A prefix for a serious mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. May result in some combination of hallucinations, delusions, and extremely disordered thinking and behavior that impairs daily functioning.

Vertigo - A sensation of whirling and loss of balance. Caused by disease affecting the inner ear or the vestibular nerve. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, and an inability to look around for long periods of time.

Lapse - A slip through an erroneous memory. Linked to Alzheimer's, this causes problems with memory, thinking, and behavior. It always starts with a simple daydream.

Pathway - The pathway to the afterlife.
The body will soon no longer suffer.

Afterlife - The body will no longer suffer.
